Signs of a dying renix ecm?
Lately my jeep is suffering from a rough idle and missing when it's cold. And as the days go on it's getting worse. It starts really nice and smooth when it's cold and then the problem starts after about 20 seconds of running. Every 30 seconds or so idle will bog down to 300 rpm or so, and then come back up. The idle is also very jumpy and inconsistent. When it's warm it starts good but as soon as the rpm's come back down the idle immediately is rough and inconsistent, but not as bad as when it's cold.
Here is the things I have replaced and checked:
New TPS and adjusted properly
New MAP
New CPS
New IAC
New Knock sensor (not that it matters haha)
CTS is good
MAT is good
Newer neon 703 injectors ultrasonically cleaned
O2 sensor has high heater resistance ~43 ohms so it needs to be replaced
All grounds are cleaned and I even tore apart the engine wiring harness and soldered in a extra ground to the body. I checked all the wires for high resistance and they all are good
The ICM contacts are cleaned and coil clips are cleaned
There is NO VAC LEAKS I have quadruple checked them haha
The engine is brand new
I'm sure there is more because I have been trying to trace down this gremlin for about a year with no luck....
So I am down to the two last possible things
- could the 02 sensor be the problem?
- or is the ECM shot?
Like i said the problem is getting worse, and those are the only two things I can think of that is left? Help!

I have tried unplugging the oxygen sensor and driving it but the idle issue stays the same. So it makes me think that's not causing the issue. I dunno maybe it is? M
I know it needs to be replaced, and I'll replace it when I have the extra cash. Anyway... The CTS is the coolant temperature sensor.

Haha i have brain dead moments all the time..
Yeah I have read through it a couple times trying to see if there was anything I could do or check, or if there was something I missed. I have done a lot of research on it. Basically the only things I haven't done is replace the oxygen sensor and computer. I don't want to have to replace the computer if I don't have to, but I figured I would see what the symptoms were for a bad computer before I get a new one.
