Service Engine light not working

Hi everyone

I have a problem with my 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport my information lights (serve engine,low washer fluid,ABS,Security) do not work!

I checked the light bulbs and they are Ok

Any ideas?

Check the wiring. On my 93 there is a separate harness that goes to the info center. Probably a bad ground.

lol i read "service engine light not working" and thought "contrary to popular belief, the service engine light is not ALWAYS lit up on XJ's"

maybe theres a blown fuse somewhere, im not sure if there's a seperate one for just that cluster of lights. from there, i'd just trace the wiring back from the lights till you find out where you lose power and go from there.

well i have alredy checked the fuses and they seem alright...

Ive heard that the PCM could be the one to blame... buying one used was not the way to go and you HAVE to buy a new one and have your VIN flashed into it

is this true?
or the wiring is the problem?
