serpentine belt tightening
Could someone please tell me the exact bolts to loose to tighten the serpentine belt on my '99 Cherokee, I looked at a write up on it but it's not making sense to me.

Loosen the Idler Pulley Bolt (it's the pulley below the power steering pump). Then tighten the Adjusting Bolt (it's down between your power steering pump and your water outlet). After tightening the Adjusting Bolt re-tighten the Idler Pulley Bolt. I hope the picture helps.

make sure the idler pulley bolt is tight, not overly though, then slowly tighten the adjusting bolt to get your belt tight. When it's tight, fully tighten the pulley bolt.
