lookin into 4bolt steering box conv & new steerbox. What is the difference? I've found 2 boxes I like so far 1.Saginaw YJ box fixed 3.2:1 ratio 2. PSC box 13-16:1 variable ratio. What would be better if I'm lookin to build a rig with future plans of a diesel & lots of mud & little rockin?

 

Then go with the variable ratio PSC box. AGR and Howe have them too. Sometimes you can find them on old Cadilacs too.

 

Ford has used Saginaw in their trucks and crown vics for....ever. They're good setups. And makes for easy steering too!

I have a new AGR tapped for a rock ram. It is in, but haven't tried it yet. Hopefully I will start the Jeep Wed.
