Well because it comes with longer arms don't worry about it but which kit are you getting. The X-Series or the long arm kit? If it's the long arm kit you don't need anything. If it's the X-Series, an adj. track bar would be a very good idea to keep your axle lined up under your jeep. The kit comes with a t-case drop, which is fine, but you may want to look into getting a SYE (Slip Yoke Eliminator) to help with your drive shaft angle. Other than that both kits look good.

I just threw on my RC 4.5" x-series kit a week ago with no extras and have had no problems at all. I flex out my 32's with ease. The only extra things I want to buy are sway bar quick disconnects, and also I would avoid the add-a-leaf if you can afford the full leafs. The add-a-leaf seems super stiff right now, and doesn't quite measure up as high as the front in my case, even though there is a shackle too. Hopefully they will get softer as I break them in. I have had no problem with driveline vibrations even before I dropped my t-case. Great lift for the money!

im getting the x-series kit and im getting new packs. im also putting 33x12.5's on. i am gonna come to the rubbing problem when that time comes. ive got a set of jks quicker disconnects to put on as well.
so just the adj trac bar or a pitman arm drop too?
im new and i want to have veverything when i start this as i only have a short time window to take it apart and put it back together.

yeah the 4.5" i dont think you'll need to control arm drop brackets, but i would recommend the adj. trac bar and the drop pitman arm? and if u have the money i would get the SYE kit and cv drive shaft

Definately an adjustable trackbar. The kit comes with a transfer case drop, but if you have the funds you'd be better to not use the transfer case drop and just install an SYE. Also, with larger tires, not only is your gas mileage gonna suck, but so is your acceleration, so plan on having the diffs regeared.

I would get the drop brackets. The wear on the control arm bushings will be less. And the ride will be greatly improved. Or you could just install your kit drive around and see if the stiffness bothers you. You can always upgrade to the brackets later.

im putting the 4.5" w/ AAL's and no drop brackets on my bro - in - law's 1996 2wd AND im doing a 4.5" w/ full packs on my 1994 4x4 (just called up and got it goin today ) with out them. My rep at Rough Country (Jason) said there is no need for it UNLESS you do something like taller coil isolaters and as far as the SYE typically if it is a 4DR you wont HAVE to do it, but it helps if you flex alot.
