Default Replacing front triangle window with one that opens

Pretty much just what the title says. I'm looking to replace the little triangle windows in my jeep with some that can swivel. I guess I should ask if this is even possible, I'm not sure how it all works. Also, I have no idea how to replace windows, but hey, how hard can it be lol. If anyone has even done this, or has any info your input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have done it the other way around.(I broke it and has a parts jeep. lol ) It isnt hard to do just a little time and your good. You have to undo the 2 screws on the top of the door then take your panel off. You will end up replacing the track also. So it will be the little window plus the track for the main window but thats only like 2 more bolts. And thats about it.

There are a few screws going up the a-pillar of the door. and i think a nut and bolt or two inside the door.

You are going to have to remove the inner door pannel. Then the window. Then with the window out of the way you can take out the retainers for the corner window and replace it.

I dont really like the ones that open. They tend to leak.

yup, tons of freaking wind noise from that sucker. plus, i notice they are very easy to break into. if you put a vise grip or plier on the round part that is on the outside of hte window, you can turn the whole latch mechanism and then reach in and unlock the door. the locking mechanism isn't keyed or shaped weird, its round. so even though your latch is locked, since you can rotate the lock, it is kind of useless

oh, don't get me wrong, i like it also. i like to open it while on the highway because it blows a tons of air right on you but if you like driving with the windows up or have an expensive system in your jeep then i would refrain from putting some in my jeep

Hmmmmmmmm... lots of pros and cons to this... I dont have an expensive stereo and its pretty much my winter DD while my Camaro is in the garage. I just thought they would be nice for smoking, but I do really hate wind noise. How about the rear windows for 2dr's that slide open?

I dont have alink but if you did a search you may find one but its not hard at all to do. It a couple bolts and a couple screws and some time. Its a window and a track

i would rather up grade mine to non opening vent windows because the latch is right where the mirror lines up for me. plus, i use the ac alot in the summer so i hardly ever have the windows done. that would get rid of hte wind noise and get rid of the latch being in my mirror
