Default Replacement seats for 1991 Cherokee XJ

HI all,
I have a question. I own a 1991 Cherokee XJ and as you all know the seats can be a pain especially the drivers seat. Just now I found a complete set of leather seats from a 2000 Gran Cherokee and was wondering if they might be usable in the XJ. I havn´t physically inspected the seats just seen them on a photo through an add. Has any of you speculated or even been through this type of replacement? Is there a lot of mods that need to be done. All answers much appreciated as always.

The seat base, track, and seat bottom mounting points changed in 95. Grand Cherokee seats will be a direct swap for 95 and up but will require modifcation and fab work to go into a 94 or older. If you are having the same issue I had with my 91, being the drivers side seat bottom having that annoying lean to one side. Check this thread out.

It is a very common problem with the older XJ seats.
