Replaced drum brake shoes and wheel cylinder but still no brakes
I have a 97 Cherokee Sport. I had a leaky wheel cylinder on one side so i replaced it and drums. I bleed the brakes but that side is not working. Any ideas on why? Brake fluid is full. Front brakes work fine.
Thanks

I would start by double checking that the drum brake pad collars are seating properly on the main stud at top. Are they sitting right in the new cylinder?
Then check the springs for tension and the rest of the hardware in there.
Finally the star nut at the bottom may not be adjusted correctly.

There is an adjustment inside of the drum brake that can be set. Make sure your brakes aren't out of adjustment before you do anything.
After that, make sure your rear brake line isn't clogged and causing only enough fluid for one side to make its way through.
