timing issue on a 96

timing issue on a 96
i removed the distributor from my jeep and when i reinstalled it i got it a tooth off. when i reinstalled it, my marks are all on, the jeep idles good but starts to miss when reved up above 1500. any inputs??

I have never worked on a 96,mine is 89 with a 91 motor and the dist from my 89,I think they are timed the same,make sure it is a tdc on o degrees,then place dist where rotor is at #1,if that does not work try it just before tdc or just after,sometimes it takes a little adjusting. I knocked the dog ears off my dist to make it easier,but it not nessasary
