Remote Starter Install. Help!?
I got a cheap Ultra Starter from my friend.
It comes with the alarm speaker, a few wire harnesses, and the control module.
Where the hell do I start? I'm not goin to waste my money and time with a worthless dealer so any help would be great. Tomorrow I start trying......
Anyone installed anything like this themselves?

Well your going to need a power and a ground. So you could start there.
The one I had actually had 2 wires going to the power.
Then your ignition wire (ignition switch), and the application wire that goes to the climate control.
It really all depends on what brand and model you get.
If all else fails, you could read the directions.

UCA bolts are worse... in my case anyway. Fuel line was too close to it and I ran out of gas so I couldn't torch the siezed bolt....
Short story, I couldn't install my CA drop and I still haven't found the time. Work sucks! If only I could get paid to work on my jeep lol.

Dude was asking for help with a remote starter..
What make/model is the one you have? Here is an install manual for a ($40 cheap) remote starter I installed on somebody's jeep a while back:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/tetmj2...tecarstart.pdf.
The wire colors will be different, but they are all similar as far as which wires to tap into. That one took about two hours start to finish, taking my time.
Check out http://www.the12volt.com/, it's a great site for wiring diagrams and other useful info.
