Important question about a certain part
I know it is against the rules to tAlk about it but I'm REPLACING my cat not just takin it off. It is SHOT as he'll. I took the clamps off but other than that it won't budge at all. Anyone know how to get one off so I ain't gotta drive around bein embarrassed because my jeep literally clanks and rattles when th engine is on idling or driving. It's also killin my mileage and it was a full tank and I went 50 miles and I'm on less than half a tank.

You could either cut it off and slide the new one over the the pipe that is left, or you can hammer it off (what I did once). The heating and cooling that occurs on those end do a good job of seizing them together.

Yup either cut it off or beat it off. Also about the gas mileage, are you sure you don't have a bad o2 sensor because the cat shouldn't cause that bad of mileage but a bad o2 can

... less than 50 miles on half tank sounds pretty bad, and may not be just because of your cat. If your cat went bad it may have affected your O2 sensors, which is compounding the MPG issue and making it even worse. You may have to replace it all.
