what's your location there buddy???
I work for O'reilly's in Tulsa, where all 4X4 owners, jeep owners alike will get the "I'm broke from modding discount" from me....
As for a replacement, try your local parts store, it is a pop top style that requires a flat head screw driver and a little pressure...
I think it is a 12 inch, although my memory is a little foggy from last nights margarita's..

i had to replace my arm and wiper motor assembly (b/c of how the arm was broken off, and the fact the old motor didnt turn). i got the assembly on ebay for like $30 and picked up the arm from http://www.jeep4x4center.com/ for like $19 shipped. just need to remove the plastic cover from the hatch (bunch of screws and some body clips that you can pry apart with a putty knife) and the rest is pretty straight forward.
