uh read post above yours and/or learn how modern cars brake systems work today. Front brakes usually overpower back buddy... Things are made for a reason hence the reason i already have a prop valve. My question was if i need to swap new one to have even braking in front and back
Do the swap & keep your normal prop..then swap props and see which you like better. It takes like 3 minutes to swap em, so its and easy switch and the prop would only cost like 5 bucks at a junkyard.
This is exactly what I'm doing cause Idk which is better honestly..too many opinions.

I haven't seen anyone do it but you shouldn't have an issue either! Its jsut alot easier to unscrew the prop and do that lol.
I got a 99-2000 brake booster for the dual diaphram upgrade, and as far as I can tell the master looks the same as my 88 with the exception of how the hardlines are bent. Looks the same as the ZJ's in the yards as well! I thought I would need the whole master as well but it isn't nessesary, just the prop valve!
I have heard of people using masters off of old dodges and some others to get more stopping power. Most of the time, the pedal is sup sup stiff but they do stop alot better! Search google for master cyl upgrade, if your gonna switch it you may as well upgrade right? If not the prop will do just fine!

You can get the later XJ on or a WJ one. If you don't have any if your yards, I think we have a WJ in our yard currently..if you want I can pull the brake booster from it and ship it to you for whatever they want for it + shipping. No charge other than that! Plus people perfer the WJ version I guess cause its about 1" skinnier than the cherokee versions..gives more room and a cleaner look I guess!
I also wanted the clear! I think it makes the engine bay much nicer!

I like going to the yards and poking around often..good way to find cheap upgrades lol.
And yours being a 94, your brakes will be better with this upgrade! Its called the dual diaphram brake booster upgrade! You and everyone else thats a 94 or 95? down has a single disphram version..96+ got dual setup I believe!
So looks and a braking upgrade! Bam can't beat that!

I want rear discs!! These drums are killing me. Plus it makes maintenance super easy after it's all in and working properly.

I have an 89 XJ D35 non C clip. I have access to a complete 2004 Crown Vic's rear disc brakes all for only $100.
I know the early to mid 90's are a near bolt on conversion but will this '04 work? Has anybody done a similar conversion or know the difference between 90s and mid 00s rear disc brakes?

I have a dana 35 on my 00 jeep cherokee with abs and want to do the rear disc brake conversion. Does anybody know what exactly is needed to do the conversion with ease and does any body have a kit available?
