rustys long arm kit
im upgrading to long arms soon and ive decided on the rustys set up , but now they came out with a high clearance arm and its the same price , whats the main differance ? i think i may go with the regualr one because it almost looks like the high clearance ones would bottom out on the frame rail with heavy upward travel now i dont really have rock climbing locally but we do have lots of hills and washouts and lots of flexing, whats everyone think ? heres a pic of the high clearance ones

rustys would be my last choice for longarms
and those are far from high clearance. they just throw a bend in em' and advertise them as high clearance (compared to thier older stuff) to sucker people in.
i would look into other longarm kits if I were you.
tnt customs
clayton
rock krawler
rough country
to name a few

Not talking down on rough country in anyway because I have there short arms now and love em and they do make quality stuff but rustys is really big on Cherokees and been making long arms alot longer then rc , I seen there set up in person and it's super nice , is there any specific reason why you think it's garbage ?

I've been on the forum since September and in that time have noticed "Hating Rusty's" is a popular thing. I've dealt with them, their shipping prices are a little high and communication is'nt the best, but the quality of their products is top notch. I'm not sure where this whole I hate Rusty's, don't buy from them thing got started!

You cant discount an entire company because someone made a thread about one of their products breaking once, im sure every company has people who have broken their stuff. I have a couple rusty's skidplates and i've never seen anything near as well built for a similar price. I have never been unhappy dealing with them. And I got a buddy who has their long arms, beats the crap out of them and says it great.

I notice everyone hates rustys too , I have there HD trac bar as well as a few other parts and everything seems super beefy , I just looked at the TNT long arm set up and it's really nice too , it's almost identical to the rustys one

Yeah Rusty's has gotten a bad rap over rod ends snapping on their track bars. I am not sure if they have changed the rod ends they use but I think that is where the issues lie.
Not sure which long arm setup I would use but there are other options. RC is a good price for a 4 link, Rusty's IMHO is a bit pricey for what you get.

Only prob I have with RE (which I run) is all their stuff is propriatary. If a bushing goes you have to replace it with theirs, same for rod ends which failed on mine in less than a year on my track bar. I know Rusty personally and he puts a lot of coin in developement. IMO I would rather use a company who makes good things for a few vehicles like RE or Rusty's than one that makes OK stuff for everybody. FYI I run some RC stuff as well just haven't been all that impressed with it.

tnt and rustys are far from similar
