Radiator transmission flare removal?
I am changing out my Radiator, all out except the transmission line. How does this line get removed? The top one has threads, bu the bottom one does not, the connector just spins......

Can you take a pic? should have 2 plastic tabs on the radiator side,if not that it might be a round connector with a retaing spring inside but never seen them on a jeep, just on fuel lines for ford.

you need to buy a special tool at any auto parts store...later models have and internal tab system that can only be depressed with the tool.

I got the tool, came off in 5 minutes...
Now how to get it back on, to the new radiator? I have pushed as hard as I can, does not seem to want to (pop) in? Is there any tricks?

they should just push and clip together, (im assuming you have the non plastic type my 99 does...) if they dont, check the inner metal clip in the female connector, it may have a bent ear...if it is this type you can pop the ring out and replace it too if needed

Thanks Storm.... Anyone bypass this quick connect on a 99 or newer jeep? This fitting must be bent or something, it just will not slide into the radiator tube?
Seems like a clamp would work better? Or easier....
