96 cherokee hard start and rough idle
hey guys, im stumped....
i put a newsed (used) engine in my 96 cherokee, got it off a buddy, so i know that it ran fine before i put it in.
it runs, but very poorly, its hard to start, then it idles really rough, when i put it in gear to try to move it out of my garage, it stalls. any idea's on what it could be?
i had to take the distrubutor out when i put the engine in, because it was in the way, but i put it back in, i of course had to get it back in time, which is fairly simple with these, adjust the crank to TDC, then drop the distributor in either the right way, or 180° out. i have 3 jeeps total, so i know the distrubutor is in right, the only thing i think COULD mess up the timing is if the crank is one notch off on the balancer pulley, but even then it wouldn't cause that much **** would it?
i hope i explained everything ok. thanks in advance for the help!

injector plugs are good, this jeep sat for a while, and i bought it running poorly, so im not sure of the history of the thing. i'm wondering if maybe the injectors need cleaned.
