just wondering what temp degree of t stat is everyone using?????

ok sweet does your temp guage say its running at 125?

no... Thats way too cold.
I run 210 with no fan shroud or electric fan no matter what outside temp it is.

Should be between the 2nd and middle line.

oh ok i thought my guage was ****ed. it goes from 40 (cold) to 125 (hot) and it sits at max thats normal then??

99% of 4.0 applications should run a 195 degree thermostat.

Buy your stats directly from Jeep for the best reliability and STABILITY of coolant temp.

I buy plenty of aftermarket parts. I buy my thermostats directly from Jeep.

Ahh... you have the metric gauges.
That too hot then. lol

It should never go much over the line in the middle of the temp gauge.

Could be alot of things, did it stay at the right temp before you changed the tstat?

no it kept boiling over out the resevoir. i put a new tstat, new rad, new water pump, new hoses, new tem sensor, and new reservoir cap on it. it doesnt boil over anymore but it def runs hot

There CAN be some inaccuracy between the coolant temp sensor and the dash gauge.

I always verify using an infrared point and shoot thermometer pointed directly at the thermostat housing. That gets you close to the actual coolant temperature.

Don't want to be chasing a ghost.....test.
