Default Parking Brake Light Won't Turn Off

I have a 2001 Cherokee Sport. About a week ago my parking brake light came on while I was driving. Now it stays on all the time. My parking brake is off and I my brake fluid is full. How can I get the brake warning light to turn off.

Are you leaking fluid from the insides of any of the wheels? If you see vertical "stripes" on the insides of any of the tires, that may well be what's going on.

Could a bad parking brake switch could be causing it? You said it came on WHILE you were driving, not while you were BRAKING, correct?

I just replaced my front pads and rotors, and checked all the brakes and no fluid is leaking. I have tried everything and still the light remains on.

do what 98 jeep jeep said... should be only like one wire in with power and one wire out with power... thats gonna be the one causing the light to be on... if one wire in is hot and the other is not then the sensor isnt tripped...

it's more than likely low fluid. your other replies are right with
checking your tires....probably have a leak somewhere. mine came
on while i was driving too. turned out my rear wheel cylinder burst.
all my fluid came out all at once. had to drive home with the E-brake.
