1991 Cherokee Laredo 4.0 4x4 - My alternator broke/seized up. I am trying to replace it, but the top bolt will not slide out... Is there a reason this bolt is stuck? and how would I go about trying to get the bolt loose? Any opinions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

try to use a wrench to spin it, if it wont then its rusted in and you need to cut it off.

It's spinning, just not going anywhere and I don't think it's rusted. There's no room to try and bang it out either.
