NP242 and SYE... Looking for info
Hi all, I was looking into getting a SYE for my 94 sport so I could eliminate the drop when I did the 4" lift. When about to get the parts; found out not compatible with the NP242 T-Case. The parts guys said he knew of only one SYE for the NP242 and that it was junk and would not recommend it.
In looking around further; I have found a Hack & Tap type from Rubicon Express and Tom Woods.
What is anyone else’s experience with SYE for the NP242? Anyone done it? What did you use?

I have the HnT from RE and it has worked flawlessly for me. Mostly trails and some mud. Never had it on any big rocks. I was scared while putting it on but I got it done and now have no regrets.

The Hack-n-Tap is good just take your time doing it. They hold up well.. And you can even make your life easier and pull it apart and have a local machine shop hack and tap it to make sure it's on center..
