Hi guys,

I have a 1996 Cherokee Classic 4x4 4.0 with the AX-15. Not often, but sometimes when I go from a stop to a quick acceleration, the jeep rolls slowly then after a second or two it pulls hard as it should (if my foot is still on the gas). I noticed a crack in my exhaust manifold...could this be causing the issue? New manifold ordered already but wanted to know if anyone has a technicial answer as to way it would/wouldn't do that.

As a side note it almost feels like it's out of gas for a split second when it happens. Been happing since I got it a few years ago. Seems to be worse when it's cold outside.

Likely the TPS, not signaling that you are accelerating. Fuel pressure is worth checking too.
