New (used) rim & tire combo... tight fit!
I got tired of the mismatched wheels on my little 2wd XJ, so I picked these 16" Wrangler wheels off of the local Craigslist.
I had to remove the front center caps to clear the bearing-cups, but I can smooth and paint the dust cups and they will look fine.
I'm sure I'll scrub a bit, but I can live with that

It scrubs a bit at full-lock... options:
1) deal with it
2) body-saw a bit off of the inner fender where it's rubbing
3) 1.5" suspension lift
What would you do with it (keep in mind its 2WD)

Take a hammer to the dust caps-- before you do that pull the dust cap off & see how mush you can smash the caps or remove the dust caps completely
