new pump and belt, and now defrost grinding
Hey everyone, I have a 96 cherokee sport that runs through anything and everthing. i just made it to 105k miles on it and my water pump gave out. took it to the shop, and they said the belt was worn as well. we just decided to put in a pump and belt at the same. the jeep temp is now running a little hot and whenever i turn on my defrost it makes a high pitch squeek and grind sound. also the battery drops pretty low. being in utah and having the crazy snow this will be an issue. do you think the belt could be too tight or a problem with my fan? any help would be great!

thanks, just checked the belt and it didnt seem too tight. the bat might need A little attention as well. i will keep you guys updated but any info helps! thank you all
