K so I just got done cleaning my injectors per the little video I saw online that someone posted (works great!!!) now I tested the resistance of all the injectors and the all came out between 12.4 and 12.2 I had one that came in at 12.0.....what is the correct reading for these injectors. I searched the other posts but didn't see this part

The spec for just about any injector is between 12-16 ohms. Also, you want to keep the numbers as close together as possible. For example you wouldn't want to use five injectors that are around 12-12.5 ohms and then use one that's at 14 ohms.

I bought 8 because I could only find sets of four on ebay. I made the little cleaner rig using injector cleaner and a syringe from an I.V. kit. 7 of the 8 injectors fired and the 8th wouldn't do anything not even dribble. So I am going to let it soak over night and try again tomorrow. I tested all the injectors 5 came out at 12.4, 2 at 12.2 and 1 at 12.0. The bad one tested at 12.4 so hopefully I can get it cleaned out and working. Otherwise it looks like 5 12.4 and 2 12.2

I think you mean five 12.4 and ONE 12.2 unless of course you have an inline seven . But that does seem like your best option. I wouldn't worry too much about the other injector that's clogged up right now. You could soak it in some Seafoam and see what happens. But you have the 6 you need and one spare for the time being. Also, don't forget to get new o-rings before you install them.

Haha, post up your results after installation. I did Ford injectors last week and I'll know my MPG tomorrow when I fill up. I got a CEL for "Open Injector Circuit" in cylinder 1 and 3 after installing them. It ran like poop for the first 5 start ups, then ran good, then the CEL came on. It runs good, but says the injector circuits are open. I don't know....it beats the heck out of me. It runs and I don't really care.

will do, i think i am going to reset my computer after I install them so it will learn faster. I also have a throttle body spacer, k&n, and jet chip, so I am interested in seeing how it all works together. I am keeping an eye out for a new intake at jy to steal for mine. I just ordered a locker and a setof 4.56's...should be here by the end of the week
