Exclamation Need help troubleshooting tail light problem

1991 jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4 I6

Having some trouble with my tail lights. Here is the current situation.

1. Brake lights work perfectly.
2. Reverse Lights work perfectly.
3. Hazards flash and work perfectly.
4. Signals will turn on but do not blink.

In the back of the jeep by the bumper there was a connector that was not plugged together that looked to be related to the lights, so I tried plugging it in but it did not fix the problem. This may have been because if a bad electrical connection between the prongs because they looked old and dirty.

I need help fixing the turn signals. The hazard lights do blink. I do not know much about this problem so I was wondering if anyone can help. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

I wonder If the hazard's and the blinker's use different units? I think 91 has stuff both under the dash and under the hood? (don't know) Often it's a connection or a wire, not the unit. I might giggle, unplug-re-plug anything that looks like a flasher unit. I don't think there is a fruit that size unless it''s a tomatio! Flasher unit might be a little larger than a quarter in diameter, and about as tall. Be sure on the fuses...I believe they are separate....

Flasher, or very likely the relay. Look under the dash above the driver side kick panel.
