Hi, I'm new to posting but it seems like something is wrong after my drive up to the mountains yesterday. When I turn it sounds like something is loose on the front of the car, and I'm getting a vibration while driving that wasn't there before. I know the descriptions aren't very specific but that's all I can come up with. Anybody have a clue? Thanks -Rey

Haha, nah it's not in 4wd

I'll check the tracbar tomorrow morning when there is light. I can't move it in the garage right now, so I just have to use daylight.

When you turn? By any chance does the steering wheel jerk back and forth when you turn? Is it making a clicking type noise from somewhere near the front tires? It sounds like axle shaft u-joints to me. They make noises when turning.

My suggestion would be to get someone to turn the steering wheel back and forth while you get underneath and observe. See if you can spot the problem. I know that something like you are describing is difficult to be very specific about but the visual inspection is going to reveal the most information.

So, I looked under it and everything seemed fine. Tracbar, steering, etc etc. It seems I misdiagnosed it. After trying to start it now after a few days it sounds like a clunk clunk, after the engine fires up. I have a second gear grind that has been getting worse and reverse also grinds. Could it be something with my transmission? It seems as if the transmission could be loose? And when I went in the mountains, I really didn't abuse it at all.
