Best $35 u can spend at this point.......look at the bright side, changing out the fan clutch does not require another coolant drain/refill. With a good fan clutch, u may seldom, if ever, hear the efan.

Alright so changing the clutch fan at this point seems reasonable since my jeep decided to overheat and boil over a few days ago. Would not having a shround/fan cover for the clutch driven fan make it less effective by weakening the air drag?.... yep.. missing shrouds and fan covers.. not a surprise on this thing at all honestly.

Another thing I honestly think is contributing to the overheating is the crappy single core radiator that I bought as a replacement and the ridiculous amount of rust in the cooling system due to a dying heater core. Thank god my head isnt cracked like I originally assumed.

Do the fan clutch, and replace any missing shrouds, you have to remove the clutch anyhow . I removed the battery on mine, gives you a easier access to the nuts. I replaced my rad with an OEM style (copper),got it at a local rad shope cheaper then at the auto parts store, under 100 bucks

Without a fan shroud, air is not being pulled through the radiator! No airflow=overheating.

If the heater core is causing problems it can be easily bypassed with the heater hoses.

Alright, could somebody please point me in the right direction to a fan shroud? I cannot seem to find a site that sells just the shroud/cover for the clutch fan

95 is not known for cracked heads. Might be a failed head gasket.
If you plan on buying it, assume the worst. Bearings + antifreeze = rebuild.
