Question Mr Gasket Shock extentions / bar pin eliminatos / Bump stop / shock mount - Help -

Hi All,

I will be installing my 6.5" RC long arm kit soon, but I am gathering a few more parts first.

I ordered a set of bar pin eliminators and I was thinking about getting a set of Mr. Gasket Shock Extensions for the Front of my XJ.

I was watching the Trucks episode again with the cheap Cherokee that they installed the rusty's 6.5" long arm kit on and at the end of the show they said that they also installed Mr Gasket shock extensions because the down travel on the new lift was being limited by the shock length.
So to get more droop they installed those.
I also read you need extended bump stops which I have already installed.
I was thinking about getting a set of these Mr Gasket extensions to work with my RC kit as well.
I here from a few people that have them installed say that the front shocks limit the travel of the long arm.
So they will be getting new longer shocks.
well I am not made of money here so I want to use the RC shocks as long as I can.

SO i was thinking of geting them.
has anyone had any experience with them?

my only 2 concerns are.
1 strength (but from what I read they are strong)
2 droop length (will extending those make it so that I need limiting straps or will I be just fine?)

I also read that bar pin eliminators I have will give me a little extra droop as well..

I was also planning on cutting and welding my rear shock mounts like this in the rear.

Please try and make sense of what I am saying and let me know your thoughts.

thanks all

Brian
