Default are motive gears any good?

I am regearing soon. I have a dana 30 front and will have a ford 8.8 rear.. I found a kit for both axles and master install- bearings etc. For a little under 500 bucks.. but the gears are made by motive and I'm nolt familiar with them.. anyone have any experience with them?

Default motive gears

I have them in an axle and really happy with it. They are nicer then my G2 gears in my opinion.

I have seen numerous set of g2 and motive gears with chipped ring gear teeth. they have some issues with how they heat treat their gears. we just had a customer buy d30 and d44 gears from rustys offroad for his xj super cheap. they were superior gears and are a great quality gear.

i would buy yukons or superiors. then again when you wheel you will always find you weak link and sometimes its your gears no matter what brand they are
