Default Lucas Leak Stop for Axle Seals?

My one axle seal on my passenger side on the front has a slight leak, my buddy told me to try lucas stop leak before i gutted the whole axle to replace the seals. I looked, all there is is stop leak for power steering, transmission and oil. What would be the one to use in my axle?

I went to http://www.lucasoil.com/products/dis...?iid=6&catid=6

And they dont show the company making any such product and also looked around and amsoil and they dont make any either.

I would just check the fluid lvl and add some if needed and then just set up some time do both axle seals and changing the diff fluid its good maintence anyway.

How bad is it leaking. If it is not bad then as suggested combine it with some other job that needs to be done. Just keep an eye on the gear lube.

No such thing as axle stop leak. If the stop leak did work then remember it only works with heat. An axle does not heat up enough to make stop leak work. Stop leak does work on very small leaks. Wouldn't suggest using it on radiators though.

"I looked, all there is is stop leak for power steering, transmission and oil"

The guy told me to use oil leak stop for an axle. I dunno if that will work tho.
