Radiator differences
Hello,
i have a radiator from a 97 2.5l manual trans, that i would like to install on my 2000 4.0 Autotrans. Does it fit? Just Nice to know before i take it all apart.
Thanks in advance

The radiator itself probably has the same exterior dimensions, but the auto trans radiator has an internal heat exchanger to cool the transmission that the manual one doesn't.

I am thinking that a '97 2.5 gas engine radiator is smaller.
For starters there is not an electric fan shown in the illustration for that year and motor.
Also decided to go look it up at Napa and this is what they show.

I can't say with 100% certainty but Napa is pretty good about showing a picture of the actual product.
