Default Lifted jeep steering not right?

Have 92 xj with 5in lift and when turning to left the steering box stops about 1/2-1 in befor steering stop hits but when turing to the right it hits the steering stop and feels like the steering box will still turn. Has anyone got any ideas why? Does your jeep do this as well? Thanks.

Is your steering wheel crooked? If so then all you need to do is adjust your drag link

did you remove the pitman arm when you did the lift? might need to be moved for the lift.

yup, i would remove the pitman arm, then find center of the steering box by rotating the steering wheel left and right counting each rotation then find center. then with the wheels at center, replace the pitman arm. the splines are so close, it's easy to be off a few.

then if the steering wheel is off-center, adjust it with the drag link.

The pitman arm is notched so that it only goes on one way
