Interior lights flicker with stereo
Alright I can't for the life of me figure this out, I work on cars all day but electrical is not my strong point at this point.
So, I'll be driving down the road listening to music fairly loud and then my interior lights start flickering with the music, until I turn the music down a ways then it seems to stop. Today I was driving and it started doing the same thing however the rear speakers all of the sudden quit working and the interior lights stopped flickering, until the speakers kicked back on?
It's a 99 XJ, with the OHC and aftermarket stereo, and 4 speakers. The lights that are specifically flickering are the courtesy floor lamps and the 4 lights on the OHC, all the lights were swapped to LED about a year ago.
Thanks

Check all your ground connections. Start with the fenderwell ground, then the radio ground. See my sig.
