Default How to test fuel gauge on a 96 xj

Can someone please explain to me how to test my gauge? I know where the connector is under the car but I am unclear as exactly what to connect or cross to see if the gauge is faulty. Just got this jeep and the gauge worked, filled it with fuel then next day Reads empty with low fuel light. Need to rule out the gauge before chasing a sender down. A picture of what you are jumping etc would be awesome if possible.

mheym56820, did you figure yours out? I have some experience with my 96 with the same fuel module you have and might be able to help.
