i have a 1991 jeep cherokee with the 4.0L inline six, four wheel drive, but i dont know which rear end it has, i want to get a powertrax locker and i need to know which one it has...any info would be appreciated thanks!!

if it has a flat bottom its a Chrysler 8.25...if its more of an oval shape its a Dana35...

Chrysler 8.25
that is an upgrade from the 35
and was part the tow package

if you have a factory reciever you should have the cryco 8.25

I've got the 8.25 (looks stock) but the Jeep did not, nor has it ever had a hitch on it (until I put one on it).

a tow package is not the only way you could have the 8.25
it just part of that uprade

The aftermarket selection for the 8.25 is much slimmer than for the D44s.

Both are fairly strong, but the D44 is indeed a bit better.

alot of guys at work talk about the dana 60. is that a good upgrade for a jeep. most of them run toyotas.

Depends on your setup and desired tire size. If your at stock height with stock tires, you'll lose ground clearance.

Some, but not all of those are Jeep axles. That's a big list of alot of axles.
