If you add a writeup to your Renix Tips page, feel free to use my photos, though I wouldn't mind getting photo credit.

I probably will do a write-up. Your photos would be helpful. Thanks.

It's hammer time!

Anyway, fabbed up this holder for the coolant reservoir tonight from some pieces I had laying around. Not pretty but it will do the job. Black paint will keep it from rusting. Install tomorrow and the job will be done. I'll add a couple of installed photos later.

I suppose this thread should be moved to the "modified" or "fabrication" section at some point?

Default Finí

Cut one of the upper tabs on the reservoir a bit too close so I had to epoxy it up. At least it was one of the ones on top.

Otherwise, good fit and position.

LOL! I noticed that box from the other thread asking about the structural importance of the piece under the seat. I was big into IPAs (till I quit drinking), still get a variety of them for the wife.

Good job on the cooling system conversion and custom bracket!!

Guilty: I like my beer

Thanks for the compliment. It's a good feeling to take a job to completion.

And thanks to Cruiser54!

This is the way it's supposed to work. Thanks guys!!

Martillo, I'm following your quest for the hoses around the air cleaner. Let us know what you find as substitutes for NLA parts. I'll include them in my Renix vacuum Harnesses Tip.

I swapped the heater hoses on my XJ today. It's soooo much nicer than the way I had it. Thanks for posting pics and p/n's.

You're welcome. Someday, we'll have a complete write-up on the closed to open swap.
