high oil pressure?

I know pressure sending units have a bad habit of going sour, at least on the older XJ's, so that's my bet. Wait until someone else chimes in, though.
Ten Bob's Bucks says they'll say the sending unit is probably gone, but hook up to a mechanical gauge to make sure.

more than likely oil pressure sending unit is crapped out, but also high possibilty of a bad ground so verify wiring is up to snuff.... Verify with mechanical gauge, sending unit is located at the oil filter adapter.

Almost assuredly the sending unit itself. Very common failure on the 4.0 When they go bad, they "usually" fail on the high side. If you buy one, buy it directly from Jeep for the best reliability/accuracy/mating with your factory gauge. Well worth the extra $20.

I always hear people talking about buying parts from Jeep. Earlier, it was thermostats, now it's OPSU's. I wouldn't mind doing so, but do you have a link where we can order stuff like that? My google fu is weak today.

If the engine is not making any unusual noises you have oil pressure. You'll know when you have no oil pressure, there will be a lot of bad noises.
