Is it possible to have the high beams and fog lights on at the same time? I know someone posted it in the fab section but someone them said that it doesn't work. Does anyone know a way to do it? I have a 2001 Cherokee sport. Thanks.

Ya just wire the fog lights to a toggle switch essentially wire them up as if they were after market ( don't forget a fuse )

Remember to be courteous to oncoming drivers.....no fogs with highs was done at the factory for a reason.

I know I turn my highs off for on-coming traffic anyway. But I read on the homebrew jeep mods thread that if u just bend a prong on a fuse in the fuse box, it will keep the fogs on with the high beams. But then someone said it doesn't work and did not explain, do you guys know about this?

I recently just tried this. Triple checked the .pdf thinking i had done something wrong..wiggled the wires.. Yeah, it doesn't work. Atleast not on my xj.

i think it was this this on the fog light relay. but im not 100%.

I haven't seen that photo before but i did read a few threads that referenced it. I believe that one involves running power off battery and inline fusing. The pdf i referenced was from the declare your foglight independence thread where the test subject was a 2000 xj. The reason i tried that was because i figured itd be compatible with 97+ xj's.
