Transmission Problems Need advice
Have a 1991 Jeep Cherokee laredo 4X4 When driving it started to drive only like the first gear does not want shift need help in south texas

yup, could be the TPS, but yours is a 91 and not adjustable.
could also be the shift solenoids in the transmission, or possibly the TCU.
check in that order.

try unplugging your transmission control module and shift it manually 1 3 od. if it shifts fine than most likely its the tps if it still does not shift than your solenoids are most likely bad
