Hi All,
I sold my '92 Jeep and bought an '89, and it has electrical issues up the wazoo.
So, what is the cure when your headlights work, but turn signals and flashers don't? Fuses look good, but relays, seems you have to replace them, I don't know how to test them.
How has anyone else fixed this?
TYIA.

I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4x4. The turn signals were working intermittently (sometimes without issues, other times not at all, other times they would blink a couple and then go out). The hazards worked just fine. I replaced the turn signal stalk and it did not fix the issue. I replaced the clockspring (when adding a MOPAR cruise control kit) and it did not fix the issue. I replaced the turn signal fuse with EP27 from Advance Auto parts and it fixed the problem.

I have an 89 Jeep Cherokee Laredo that has started blowing the TS fuse when I try and signal right side. Left side is ok. Also the hazard lights/stop fuse blows at the same time.
I am thinking the TS switch is bad maybe. Anyone have any experience with this kind of trouble? Thanks for your help and advise. Dennis Maddox

sounds like the turn signal/hazard flasher relay is bad, cheap part. Like 15 bucks at auto zone. Relay is located in the dash under the steering wheel. Couple screws, easy to access. Plenty of tutorial vids around the interwebs.

Do you have a picture of it and the location?

I have a 1988 wagoneer limited that I recently purchased. When I bought it the turn signals would blink very slowly, then as a couple days went by they got a little quicker but would occasionally not work. Then a couple weeks later they stopped working all together. My hazards and everything else does work. I am no mechanic by any means, but I'm pretty good at figuring things out and fixing them. I have done a few things hoping it would work, but to no avail. The things I have done listed:
-cleaned all turn signal sockets.
-new bulbs with dielectric grease
-checked all fuses that I could find
-replaced multifunction switch in steering column
-replaced the large round yellow and silver flashers on fuse panel
I am stumped and cannot afford to take it to a mechanic. If anyone could help I'd be forever grateful! Thank you in advance!

Is the relay clicking? You will have to find a pin-out for the tail light connector. If you measure 12V when the relay is clicking and you still don't have lights. Then you know the problem is within the tail light. If you don't measure 12V you know the problem is in the control or wiring.
Basically trying to determine if you have power at the tail light connector. Divide and conquer.
