so starts one day nothing the next. i noticed also my check gauges light is on. could that be because of low battery or fuel? put new starter in and nothing. checked ground and power both fine.. any ideas?

Search around you'll find your answer. I had the same problem a while ago, but beware you could have a bad starter right out of the box. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what it was. Where did you get the starter? Is it cranking and no start or no cranking?

ok.. sorry guys. again.. i feel dumb. didnt know the starter grounded into the block. didnt have it full installed just hangin there. bought it used so i just wanted to make sure it turned before i put it into the block. put it in the block and started right up. sorry for wasting your time.
