Help My Cherokee Heat!!

Lightbulb Help My Cherokee Heat!!

i got a little question on my cherokee........ ok so drivin it around with very little idling the engine temp barely gets up to bout 120ish..... but i tried letting it idle for around 10 or so minutes and it got to the temp of 210ish! also no heat till the engine starts gettin warm. so maybe im thinkin a stuck thermostat??? help!! and thanks in advance any questions i could give ya an answer!!

I would pull the tstat housing off and look for a bunch of gunk clogging it up, Before you pull it off grab a new gasket for 99 cents. Also, is there a cents key on a standard keyboard?

ok will do......! oh yeah......... could it maybe be a stuck fan clutch or no?

A stuck fan clutch will definitely make it run cool. With the motor off it should spin with some drag.If it's frozen get rid of it. It can ruin the water pump too.

Could this also happen to int heat? I have zero heat. blows like a/c

ok so i went out and checked the fan... yes it spins freely when off! yet it always runs when its on... so now im confident that its the thermostat!
