Help me find who makes my fans...
The previous owner installed two electric fans on the radiator side by side, wired them to a toggle switch. They work great at keeping temps low. I've had trouble with one, it keeps comming loose from the bottom bolt and bounced around getting beat up by the engine pullys. Well it finally fell apart. All I have is a part number. No make or model. I've searched google and come up with an old ebay auction that was for a mopar cooling fan that had my same part number. But thats where the search stops. I cant find a mopar cooling fan with my part number. Anyways I'm just wondering if anyone here can help. Part number is 8933-000-727. Thanks.

It could be a junk yard find or it could be a generic aftermarket part.
I'd simply measure the fan housing then take a look on the motor and see if there is anything stamped on it that would indicate amperage, rpms, etc. From there go on line and see if you can find an aftermarket fan with similar physical dimensions and motor capacity. You may end up stumbling onto the right one during the search.

There's a few different dual fans that people swap into XJ's. Off the top of my head fans from a ford taurus are a pretty darn common swap. Like others have said, gonna need pics to see what you've got.

Same issue...
Hey so I have the same damned part number on my 97 XJ. Just today it has started banging around and making a ton of noise but only at certain RPMs. It made me think that my alternator had thrown a bearing or my water pump was messed up. I'll climb under there tomorrow and see if I can find the loose bolts. If you come up with anything post it and we will compare results!

I bought 90 BMW525 with front damage about 15 years ago. Dealer wanted $500 for radiator fan. I installed used fan from some Dodge, paid $20.
I drove the car for about a year, then sold.
I would be interesting, if buyer tried identifying that fan by part number.

Try Chrysler part number 52005748. That is the correct OEM number for your fan.
