Default Help**Help** shorted an ignition wire.

If you're reading this thankyou in advance. I've got a new 1995 jeep xj, and after two weeks of driving it I killed it. I was just driving down the road and I reached down and kinda shook my under dash. And when I did that I must have touched an exposed wire to some metal because the while car died and rolled to a stop. The battery still has power; I have headlights and my aux fan still runs when I switch it on. My starter still works I checked that wilth a screw driver. Today I installed a new ignition switch and that didn't fix it. I checked all my fuses and that wasn't the case either. When I checked the wires I found where one it the wire nuts was completely burnt and that's where it shorted from. The purple one to be exact. The red is also kinda burned by the connector. If anyone has any help for this situation I would be so greatfull. Maybe the relay switch? Naoa didn't have one on hand.
