Do I have this correct? If so I think you can see where I'm headed... Trace back what you did to remove the alarm step by step. Verify any butt connectors you had to install are getting good contact and so on. Take your time, use a good light and let us know what you find...
Don't those alarms have wiring that hooks into the ignition switch? Can you turn the key and get anything to work? Like even a power window?

Go out and try to turn the key and let me know if anything electrical works. You could even turn it forward and listen to hear if the fuel pump cycles on. Write me back I will be here.

OK, so since you've owned it the jeep hasn't ran. Let's start with the computer. Was it a new computer or at least close to the same year? What year did you say your jeep was?
To see if the computer matches you could pull the three large plugs off. Look at the pin side of the plug and then look at your computer pins. Is there a pin in each hole that matches? In other words we are just trying to verify that the computer is the right one.

i put a plug in the wire coming from the coil giong to the dist. and held it about a fourth of an inch from the engine block and had my brother in law crank it over and there was no spark
