Default Cherokee Sport Problem

Hi Im new to the jeep world and to this forum but I am having a slight problem with the brakelights on my 94 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I love the Jeep but to make it more legal i need brake lights haha. I have replaced both left and right side wiring harness from the rear window back where it unplugs. Old light sockets were rusted, But to the point i have reverse lights running lights turnsignals and no taillights. The taillights are a 2 element bulb which the way i see them as if u put ur foot on the brake pedal it would light the brakes up. Well this doesnt happen. Im back to problem one what would be my problem here?
Again I have Taillights, Reverse Lights, and Turnsignals, But no brake lights. All bulbs are new also.

Thanks guys hope to fix my problme. =]

Looking at a schematic it appears that there is a 20A fuse for the brake lights, clock and four way flashers....there should be a pink wire to the brake light switch that should have 12V always, if not, check the fuse. The light blue wire from the brake switch connects to the pink brake lights somewhere in the rear, and the sockets need ground.

There wasnt a 20amp fuse atleast I didnt find it. Looked in the owners manual. Is it under the hood? Or the one by the drivers side feet? Thanks.
