Dorman has two part numbers for the CCV valve, 47079 and 47057. 47057 has the orifice/metered hole in it, which should be the one that goes in the back of the valve cover and 47079 is just an empty elbow for the front (airbox) tube.

I've been looking to replace both of mine. Are they suppose to be able to wiggle a lot? If not then how do I remove them, remove hose and then rotate and pull?

thanks! lol
I just reread beav's post if the valves are round( dint know why it would be because its a 91) the links I posted are not the right ones you need to look for 93+ pcv/ccv valves for round
i thought all 91-93 valves were notched but... my xj constintly throws me for a loop.
i have a bolt were i thought it was gonna be torx on my oil adapter and bolt instead of allan key on my tc so idk.
just take out the old one and replace it with the same

nice valve cover! I was leaning over my engine the other day and heard a crack! broke the rear one. I just threw some 3/8" vacuum tubing I had laying around in between where it broke and taped it up for now, but good to know, I'll have to get a new one. I wish they were metal or rubber though, the hard plastic is so vulnerable.... especially with my *** trying to lean on it!
