Heater Core/Thermostat question
I had my thermostat changed today. For some reason the housing is leaking. Any reason why it would do that after replacing? The seal is on and its a brand new thermostat
The heat does not work. The heater core was flushed so its clean. But it is still only blowing cold air. Does it need to be replaced?

You "had" it done? Likely it wasn't cleaned up properly and isn't sealing. OR, the gasket isn't in the right place, or they didn't use some gasket seaeler.
You can get a new gasket at NAPA and a tube of Permatex and be out the door for $10. Throw in a cheap gasket scraper if you want.
Just redo it. It's a pretty easy job.
As for the heater core... I flushed mine recently, when I replaced my water pump and head gasket. Apparently I didn't do a good job, because one morning I had zero heat. Turns out a glob of crud had plugged the core. I re-flushed it and I'm good again.

Check the hoses after the engine is up to operating temp. If they are not hot all the way back, it's clogged.
If they are hot, check your blend door. That's inside under the dash. It controls the air flow across the heater core.
