Can't help you with that one. Been running door less for 7 years now without any problems. Every state, county & city has their own regulations about what qualifies as safe and road worthy, so you will have to find out what flies in your neighborhood.

Lol, dont laugh, but I made an air conditioner using an idea from youtube. Cost me maybe $15-$20 to make it.
Basically a styrofoam cooler with the top cut to house a fan and an outlet at the other end. Put frozen two liters of water in it, turn it on and believe it or not COLD AIR. I swear, the air is cold and refreshing.

Lol, a lot of people laugh, but the air it pushes out is just as cool as our air conditioner set at 69*. Here are some pics.. and dont laugh TOO much lol
Yeah, the fan is pink.. the box showed it being black. You can also buy a 12 volt car fan for about the same price, maybe a bit more. I just plug it into a converter than plugs into my cig outlet. It's pretty cool.

My mother didn't believe it at first and laughed, then I turned it on and let it sit in the Jeep for about 5 mins with the windows up, and we both got in to go the store. She was amazed, and I made her eat her words lol. I love home-brew triumph.
