Headliner
I have a 2k Jeep with a sunroof, which I think is a 3rd party install. I have not been able to identify the manufacturer. Anyhow the liner is sagging and I want to get suggestions on fix, replacement, etc. The rear portion of the headliner is not sagging and there is a definite line or edge where you can see where the sunroof portion meets the factory liner which is just behind the rear seats. Suggestions? Thanks

Just replace the headliner....I order one from here (http://www.stockinteriors.com/items....okee_Headliner) and it was easy and looks good..

Headliner
There is a ton of info online about installing headliners. I am doing mine tomorrow on my '94 Grand. I think it is all about the details and the adhesive. I am using the 3M super, everyone seems to think it is the best. I don't have a sunroof, but it is all about being careful with the shell and removing all the trim. I bought some very cool silver vinyl that looks like the diamond plate trim stuff. I wanted vinyl, so I could wipe the dog slobber off of it It was a remnant at Joann fabrics, but I got enough to also do the sunvisors. Some guys do theirs in camo, which looks awesome. $24 for that and $15 for adhesive. I might cover the trim as well. I am going to post pics of my progress, so check it out if you are interested.

Yeah, I guess the biggest concern I have is how to install around the sunroof without creating a leak. I've been trying to find the mfg and see if they have the part and info on how to replace. The sunroof scares me.

The slip on trim around the sunroof is all that needs to be removed around the sunroof for the headliner to come out. I have an aftermarket sunroof in my Grand Cherokee, and I kind of know what you mean about the funky headliner and sunroof fit. I'm kind of holding my breath hoping I have no headliner problems with mine. I would never own another vehicle with a sunroof.

hey man....i did my research and for ~$75 more than it would cost me (quality glue and material online ~$100 plus my precious time! and i hate dealing with glue/paint/wait to dry/etc) doing it.....so, i removed/installed it all my self but drove it to the local auto upholstery shop and got the headliner, speaker bar and both visors done for ~$195.....and it is warranted for a year to boot!.....good luck!
